Dugg is an experienced education leader and educator focusing on integrating technology in the classroom to enhance the students' education experience.

Dugg began his career as a Paramedic training in North Conway, New Hampshire before returning to Ontario in 1994. Working as a Paramedic in Northern Ontario Dugg has served the communities of Nipigon, Shuniah, Armstrong and Thunder Bay before moving to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island to complete his ACP training.

While working in the City of Halifax Dugg was recruited into the Air Ambulance where he started rotary wing EMS in Moosonee, Ontario before moving and settling in London, Ontario. Trained as a Critical Care Flight Paramedic Dugg has been a Paramedic for over 20 years.

Drawn to education early, Dugg has taught pre-hospital, retrieval and out-of-hospital medicine to organizations and individuals across Northern and Central America and currently serves as Professor for the Paramedic and Advanced Care Paramedic Programs at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. Dugg has developed curriculum and training programs for the MOHLTC CBRN initiative, Canadian and United States government agencies, has authored textbook chapters and has been a member of the command staff for the Ontario EMAT (Emergency Medical Assistance Team).

Dugg specializes in education others around education technology and increasing student engagement with technology in and out of the classroom. Dugg is an ambassador for Apple and Nearpod as an Apple Teacher and Nearpod PioNear.

Dugg fills his downtime with family, camping, sailing, and reading and hopes that someone soon will develop a method to safely sleep less and play more. He also feels it's important to know he hates referring to himself in the third person and is not a big fan of brussel sprouts...
